NL Moving Service – Terms and Conditions
1. General Agreement
1.1. By using NL Moving Service, the customer agrees to all terms and conditions outlined in this agreement.
1.2. NL Moving Service reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice.
2. Scope of Services
2.1. NL Moving Service provides moving, packing, transportation, and unloading services as agreed upon in the service contract.
2.2. NL Moving Service is not responsible for services beyond what is specified in the contract.
2.3. Any additional requests outside the agreed scope may be subject to additional fees and scheduling constraints.
3. Booking and Payment
3.1. A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure a booking.
3.2. Full payment must be made before or upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3.3. Any additional services requested beyond the original agreement will incur extra charges.
3.4. Late payments may be subject to interest and collection fees.
3.5. NL Moving Service reserves the right to withhold services until full payment is received.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
4.1. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled move may incur a cancellation fee.
4.2. Rescheduling is subject to availability and may include additional charges.
4.3. Cancellations due to unsafe conditions or violations of these terms by the customer will result in a full charge with no refunds.
5. Liability and Insurance
5.1. NL Moving Service will take reasonable care in handling all items but is not liable for damage due to unforeseen circumstances.
5.2. Customers are encouraged to obtain additional moving insurance for high-value items.
5.3. NL Moving Service is not responsible for damages caused by improper packing by the customer.
5.4. NL Moving Service’s liability for damaged or lost items is limited to a predetermined amount as stated in the service contract.
6. Prohibited Items
6.1. NL Moving Service will not transport hazardous materials, illegal substances, perishable goods, or live animals.
6.2. Customers must inform NL Moving Service of any fragile or high-value items before the move.
6.3. Failure to disclose prohibited or hazardous items may result in termination of services without a refund.
7. Delays and Unforeseen Circumstances
7.1. NL Moving Service is not responsible for delays due to weather, traffic, mechanical issues, or other unforeseen circumstances.
7.2. If a delay occurs, NL Moving Service will make reasonable efforts to complete the move as soon as possible.
7.3. Customers must be flexible in case of unexpected delays beyond the company’s control.
8. Customer Responsibilities
8.1. Customers must provide accurate and complete information about the move.
8.2. Customers are responsible for ensuring safe and accessible conditions at both pickup and delivery locations.
8.3. Customers must be present or have an authorized representative available during the move.
8.4. Customers must pack and prepare items properly unless packing services are specifically requested.
9. Damage Claims
9.1. All damage claims must be submitted in writing within 24 hours of the move.
9.2. NL Moving Service reserves the right to inspect and assess any claims before determining liability.
9.3. Failure to submit a damage claim within the required timeframe will result in forfeiture of any claims.
10. Company Authority and Rights
10.1. NL Moving Service reserves the right to refuse service for any reason, including but not limited to unsafe conditions or non-compliance with these terms.
10.2. Employees and representatives of NL Moving Service must be treated with respect; harassment or abuse may result in immediate termination of services without refund.
10.3. NL Moving Service reserves the right to photograph and document items before, during, and after the move for liability purposes.
10.4. Customers must comply with any reasonable requests from NL Moving Service staff during the move.
11. Dispute Resolution
11.1. Any disputes will first attempt to be resolved through mediation between NL Moving Service and the customer.
11.2. If mediation fails, disputes will be settled in a court of law within the jurisdiction of NL Moving Service’s primary business location.
11.3. Any legal fees or costs incurred due to a dispute will be borne by the party at fault as determined by the court.
12. Governing Law
12.1. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where NL Moving Service operates.

14. Confidentiality and Data Protection
